The 1s travelled away to face a strong Coleraine side in their opening match of 2026. Despite patches of excellent play across all areas of the pitch, Coleraine proved clinical when it mattered and capitalised on three penalty corner opportunities, converting each to build their lead. Priorians created promising chances of their own in open play but were unable to find the finishing touch to get on the scoreboard.

While the result didn’t swing their way, the performance showed plenty of encouraging moments. With more fixtures ahead, the squad will look to build on the positive phases of play

Player of the Match went to Grace, who put in a standout performance with top-tier tackles, slick skills, and relentless tracking back against a rapid Coleraine attack.

Our 1s were at home for the last time this side of the season against Raphoe, the local derby. Both teams started off strong, with our forwards linking up resulting in a calm and collected reverse goal from Emma Allen. However, Raphoe fought back to end Q1 1-1. The game was end to end and Prior struggled to find the back of the net. Raphoe were back in the game with a series of unlucky calls in our circle, they managed to secure the win. Hard luck in the last game before Christmas

After an early goal for Instonians, Priorians found their rhythm. Using the bouncy pitch to their advantage, Prior caught Instonians off guard by feeding passes through the gaps to our speedy forwards to score a quick 3 before half time. The second have saw a goal disallowed for Prior swinging the momentum in favour of Instonians. A valiant effort by our 1s to hold the lead but final score 5-3 to Instonians.

The Super 1s battled hard to earn a point at Ballymena this weekend!�The girls came flying out of the blocks, taking an early lead in Q1 thanks to a well-taken goal from Emma Alford . In Q2, Emma Allen and Ella both added their names to the scoresheet after some fantastic team play all over the pitch .

The game remained tight throughout, with Ballymena fighting back and keeping the pressure on until the final whistle.

Another tough day at the office for our 1s The girls came out strong across the pitch and were unlucky to go 1 down in Q1. However, a superb reverse goal from Rachael got them straight back into the game An end to end game from start to finish but North Down came out on top this time!

POTM went to Alice McLaughlin for her amazing aerials and play down the right hand side

An early goal from North Down put Prior on the back foot. A dominant second half Prior performance with plenty of opportunities created but the ball couldn't find the back of the net! Lots of positives to take forward into the season

POTM went to Amy for another superb performance in midfield and defence

the mighty 1s got off to a flying start with 3 goals in Q1 from our speedy forward Ella!! Randalstown were quick to get back into the game with play end to end to equalise, Beth managed to score a reverse aerial over the keeper to make it 4-4 in Q2! However, Randalstown held strong and scored to take the lead…an unfortunate result for our 1s but signs of postive results in the future POTM went to Amy for her cool, calm collected play in both defence and midfield

A fast paced game! Prior found their stride in the second quarter and came close to scoring a few times. South Antrim got a run of corners in the final quarter and scored a reverse stick shot.

1s: 2-2

The Super 1s travelled to Antrim for a thrilling end-to-end game against Randalstown. After going 1–0 down in Q1, the girls regrouped and fought back with a great team effort. Sarah Black equalised before Ella put us ahead with a brilliant 1v1 finish.

Randalstown levelled late on, but the team were pleased to take a well-earned point and keep building strong momentum!
