In a top-of-the-table clash, the 3s took on Cookstown in their first home game of 2026. From the start, both teams pressed well and created many goal-scoring opportunities. Cookstown struck first in the opening quarter, but the hosts soon responded with two goals in three minutes — a stunning reverse by Alisha and a perfectly placed back-post finish by Chloe in the second quarter — leaving the score 2–1 at half time. Cookstown managed to squeeze one more in to leave the game level at 2–2. A hard-fought result and an excellent team performance.

Prior 3s hosted Dromore 8XI, a new and unfamiliar
side to the league. Despite being surprised by Dromore’s early intensity, Prior stayed composed, with an early goal from Scarlett C helping settle nerves. Exceptional play down the right from Emily Y and Sarah D created further chances, leading to an impressive 5–0 finish—a scoreline that seemed unlikely in the opening minutes!

The fiery 3s travelled to take on South Antrim 6s. In Q1 the girls linked up brilliantly, moving the ball confidently around the pitch and securing three fantastic goals. Q2 showed the same hunger as they powered through the defence to add another three before half time. Q3 and Q4 demanded more defensive work, but the team stayed composed and still managed to slot home two additional goals past the South Antrim keeper, one in Q3 from a brilliant run from Emily and in Q4 from a well worked PC at the final whistle. A superb team display and a well-deserved win to keep their unbeaten run alive!

The fiery 3s returned to league action with a strong home performance against Portadown 5s. Prior dominated from the start, scoring twice in Q1 through Hannah and Alisha from early PCs. Q2 brought two more: a back-post PC finish from Hannah and a brilliant run from Emily Young, setting up Alisha on the P-spot for 4–0. The team held firm in the second half to secure the win and stay undefeated, a well-deserved victory from a fab team effort.

The fiery 3s hit the road to face Ards 5XI, and from the first whistle they brought the heat!
The forwards piled on the pressure early, dominating the opposition’s D. Goals came from Scarlett (3), Emily (2), Sarah (1), and Katie (1)
Sarah made brilliant runs up the right, with Scarlett on the post hammering home multiple rebounds.
POTM went to Bronagh for her outstanding all-round play — covering the pitch from defence to attack and assisting in key goals

Back in league action, the fiery 3s took on Ballymena at home. In Q1, Sophie Hamilton took an excellent position at the back post to put prior 1-0 up. Q2 saw an amazing play from Sarah Donnell from the baseline to P-spot where Scarlett Clarke found the back of the net to double the lead to 2-0 m. In Q3 ballymena got a break of play and skimmed past to find the net. Prior held strong to the final whistle to keep the score 2-1.

Priorians 3rds 6 v Armagh 4ths 0(Cup) - 18.10.2025

The fiery 3s had their first cup game of the season home to Armagh. Q1 and Q2 saw the girls go 3-0 up, leading into a determined second half. Q3 and Q4 had 3 more superb goals . The girls fought from start to finish playing beautiful hockey and got themselves a well deserved win of 6-0. An amazing team performance and a well deserved win.

The fiery 3s were on the road again to Holywood for a 3pm start The girls played phenomenally with most of the possession the entire game with an amazing team performance. They went 1-0 up in the first half but unfortunately the goal was disallowed. They held strong and seen the game to a 0-0 draw. POM went to Corinne who played exceptionally in defence
27th September 2025 - Priorians 3rds 5 v Larne 5ths 1
The fiery 3s got their league underway with an away game to Larne. A tough first half saw the girls 1-0 down at half time but fought back to WIN 5-1!!
2x goals from Scarlett Clarke, 1x from Jodie Spence, 1x from Macy Anderson and 1x from Hannah McMorris! An amazing team effort and superb performance.
