The Mighty Two’s were back in league action for their 1st match of 2026.
Prior starter strong with some slick passing around the pitch which led to 2 goals in the first quarter by Susie and Lauren.
Ailill then added 2 further goals in the 2nd quarter due to her perseverance in the D.
Prior continued to dominate play and Susie added again to her goal tally in the 4th quarter resulting in a 5-0 win.
Player of the Match went to Susie for her great forward play throughout the match.

Final Saturday before Christmas saw our 2s travel to Raphoe 2s for the Junior Cup QF. Raphoe pressed hard early, disrupting Prior’s rhythm, but Prior still took the lead in the first quarter when a swept ball deflected off a defensive stick and into the roof of the net.
Despite chances at both ends, no further goals came and Prior held on for a 1–0 win. Semi-finals bound!
POM went to Issy for her tireless work on the right of midfield, breaking down any attacks Raphoe made & her endless attacking runs along the baseline

On a blustery Saturday afternoon, the Mighty Two's welcomed Banbridge for the last league match of the year.
Priorians started strong and were awarded a penalty corner early in the 1stQ. The corner led to a rebound goal scored calmly by Rhonda for her first ever Prior goal!
This was followed by 2 further goals in open play from Jamee and Ailill leaving the score 3 nil after the 1stQ.
Banbridge held more possession in 2nd and 3rdQs creating some scoring opportunities but the Prior defence worked hard to keep a clean sheet.
In the 4thQ Prior put on more pressure upfront which lead to another 2 goals in open play from Millie and Ailill.
The match ended 5-0 to Prior after a great all round team performance.
Player of match was shared jointly by Rhonda and Hannah who controlled the defence throughout the match

The Mighty Two's travelled to Northdown for their last away match in the league before Christmas.
Priorians started very strong with some slick passing all over the pitch. The play led to a goal after 2 minutes by Jamee followed by another by Ailill before end of 1st Q. Prior continued to dominate the match creating numerous opportunities on goal but unfortunately none of these were converted.
Player of the match was shared between Bee and Millie. Bee in defence for her distribution of the ball and her solo runs up the centre of the pitch and Millie for her tenacity in midfield.
Overall superb team performance by the Mighty Two's

The Mighty Two's were in league action again against a strong Limavady team.
Limavady took the lead with a well hit strike from a penalty corner.
Both teams created chances but it took until 3rd Q for Priorians to equalise through a penalty corner scored by Kathryn Rough.
Priorians put on further pressure for the winning goal. Unfortunately it was Limavady who took the lead near the end of the match leaving the score 2-1.
Player of the match went to Lauren Whiteside who stepped into left back for the first time and did an amazing job

The home match for the Mighty Two's seen an end to end game.
It was just before the whistle blew for the 2nd half that Prior took the lead from a well worked penalty corner scored by Bronagh McCauley.
Harlequins and Prior continued to battle it out in the second half but the game ended 1-0 to Prior giving them another valuable 3 points.
Player of the Match went to Susie Pollock for her contribution upfront.

The Mighty Two’s took on Elks (just above them in the table) and came out flying!
After a goalless Q1, Ailill broke the deadlock, followed by goals from Lauren (x2), Suzy & Jamee.
Elks grabbed one late, but Prior finished strong with a 5–1 win!

The Mighty Two's had an early start away to Banbridge in the Cup.
The girls started strong and Alice struck the first goal from a well worked PC in the Q1.
Bee also scored in the 2nd quarter from another PC but unfortunately it was disallowed. After an evenly contested 3rd quarter Millie scored the 2nd goal for Prior from a well worked team display.
Banbridge continued to press for a goal in the last quarter but the Mighty Two's held strong and came away with the 2-0 win.
POM went to Millie for her constant battling upfront and determination to win the ball at any opportunity

Prior were dominant from the start and it took a while to break the deadlock. Jodie Spence opened the scoring with a reverse strike followed by a second from a well worked PC. Millie Spence then added another 2 goals to the total. One from a near post spin and the other from a well taken Penalty Stroke. Bee and Lauren added goals 5 & 6 in the last quarter to seal an all round team performance
POTM went to Corinne Young for her solid performance in defence.

a tough opposition for the 2s today against dromore it was an end to end with lots of opportunities to score…. sarah black got on the scoresheet in Q2 to equalise and bee won POTM for her super distribution across the pitch from midfield

Goals from Millie and Susie sealed the win against Ballymena and gave the team a big boost heading into the season! A brilliant team performance from start to finish with Issy securing POM for her slick play in midfield and unreal tackles⭐️

The mighty two's got their league campaigan off to a great start with a 2-1 win away to Banbridge! A hard fought game between the two sides with Prior coming out n top. Two super goals from Ailill to give her the well deserved Player of the Match.
